Flat and Revision Rates

Based on project depth and specifics

Design is an investment for your business. Your visual identity will separate you

from your competitors. My rates are based on project depth and specifics. I price in 1 of 3 ways:

1. On-going, very large projects, retainers – bi-weekly payments.

2. Small to large size projects (most projects) – flat quote.

3. Very small projects (generally changes to an existing project)– hourly rate.

Flat rates are offered on most design projects.

Project Proposals

I require a project proposal for all of my design work. Proposals help both the client and I to outline

exactly what is expected of one another both in price and design layout before the project is started.

I typically give the client ownership of the design work in my contracts. I have a clause that says

I am free to display any non-sensitive work (including unused ideas) in any portfolio or design book.

How long will my project take

Some projects take longer than others. Communication is a large factor in the design process. If communication

and approval lines remain open, the design will be completed in the best time possible. It is not in my best

interest to delay producing a design for a client.

Can you start right away

I begin designing after the creative consultation and initial payment. During the creative consultation,

the client and I determine a date for the first round of sketches.

How do I check on progress

Throughout the design process, I will ask for feedback on designs. This keeps both parties abreast to

changes and the status of the designs. If you would like to see any progress, I am only an email away.

How much will my project cost

Cost is determined on a project by project basis. More Information can be found on my Rates page

XYZ Costs less. Can you match

I do not do any price matching. Design is creative, not automated. Two creative designers will produce two different

designs. I believe that my prices are fair and represent the amount of work I put into making a design.

I'm in XYZ State. Will this affect things

I can design for any client I can communicate with. If we can not meet in person, then

we can talk via email, phone or Skype. Payments can be made via check or Paypal.

What about Printing

I do not cover any printing costs. However, I work for an amazing single soure Print & Production Company

that can take care of all of your printing needs. We can discuss in further detail when the time comes.

Which file formats will I recieive

You will receive files in JPEG, PNG, and .PDF format.

I dont' know where to start

Admitting this is the first step in getting to where you need to be. I don't expect clients to have the

knowledge I have in design. The first step in the my design process is the creative consultation.

This is where we determine a direction to go in.

I don't know exactly what I want

Great! This is not a question, but it is something I run into often. I think critically about a design, so

I want to help solidify your idea. Coming in prepared is great (i.e. various designs you have seen and liked),

but be open to suggestions and critiques.
